Vulnerabilities found in Mac computers similar to Windows PCs
Most Mac users love their computers and swear by the notion that Mac computers are impervious to virus attacks, hardware freezing and data loss. This belief is ridiculous because a Mac computer is just as susceptible to file loss and data corruption during startup or shutdown as any Windows based personal computer. And the solutions for Mac recovery are for the most part identical with those for Windows data recovery.
Restoring a Mac Computer to operational status after it has suffered a hard drive crash requires you to reload your Mac OS X operating system just as you would reload Windows in the event of a Windows hard drive crash. And as with the Windows scenario Mac file recovery should be completed prior to reloading any Mac operating system. This is accomplished by connecting your Mac hard disk drive or solid state drive to a working Mac computer onto which a data recovery tool has been downloaded and installed. The tool is then directed to scan through the crashed hard drive and copy from it any existing or deleted files.
